Chronic inflammation can be hard to detect, but some tip-offs may include redness, puffiness, skin rashes, swelling in your hands and feet, abdominal distention, fatigue, weight gain, achy joints and muscles, headaches and gastrointestinal issues. You may also be more prone to getting colds and the flu, and when you do get them, they may linger for weeks.
There are several ways to lower inflammation.
1. Eat whole foods and avoid ultra-processed foods
2. Lower stress
3. Exercise
4. Avoid toxins
5. Get good sleep
